If behind the scenes goings-on make big news, the whole industry is likely to sound off, like the recent reaction to “Community” show runner Dan Harmon’s surprise exit.
When it comes to events, the deluge of complaints surrounding the recent inaugural Googa Mooga festival in Brooklyn directly influenced changes that were instituted the very next day.
The higher-ups are listening. We wonder how this level of interactivity and the concept of the “second screen” will influence media creation in the coming years.
